Med2Europe, the Enterprise Europe Network for the French Mediterranean area, is supporting the Stratoflight Convention organized by the regional French cluster PEGASE.
The convention will take place in Avignon (France) on october 20th and 21st this year and promises to be full of debates concerning opportunities and challenges of stratospheric flights, from the difficulties to overcome for the aircrafts and airships of all kinds to the constraints of the new missions that can be performed from the stratosphere.
October 19th will be dedicated to the Joint workshop of COST 297 "" High Altitute Platforms for Communications and Others Services" ( http://www.hapcos.org/). Members of this European project are then planning to share their experiences and works during open workshops.
The STRATOFLIGHTconvention will be a fantastic opportunity to set up the bases of ambitious R&D programs and collaborative projects for European firms and research laboratories.

The STRATOFLIGHT convention is set to establish the roadmaps and set up solid bases for European projects of stratospheric aircraft demonstrators.
The STRATOFLIGHT convention is set to establish the state of the art, and to federate contributors to the definition of a European project on this thematic, to validate the interest of partners and to define a road map for projects of stratospheric mission aircraft or airship demonstrators.
